Part 1:

Choose a technological innovation since the internet age (year 2000 after) and its artifact or tool. Then, discuss why it has been beneficial or detrimental to humanity. Support your discussion with examples or actual cases.

Part 2:

Research a company that uses the technological innovation that you have identified in Part 1.  What are the ethical policies of this company with respect to the positions offered and education levels of the employees?  List a few positions that can be found on the organization’s website.  From an ethical perspective, do the positions listed appeal to your career objectives?

Be sure to post an initial, substantive response (Part 1 and Part 2) by Thursday at 11:59 p.m. MST and respond to two or more peers with substantive responses by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. MST. A substantive initial post answers the question presented completely and/or asks a thoughtful question pertaining to the topic. Substantive peer responses ask a thoughtful question pertaining to the topic and/or answers a question (in detail) posted by another student or the instructor.
