Tacit Knowledge
Tactic knowledge refers to a type of ability, understanding or type of information that is difficult or hard to transfer, articulate and transfer from one individual to another (Key, 2017). Tacit knowledge is related to different skills that need lengthy experience and inborn ability to master. An example of tacit knowledge is aesthetics and architecture. The sense of aesthetics is regarded as an individual thing that is hard to express with precision. The skills required such as the design and art are considered tacit knowledge. The architecture is the design of form and structure, and it is thought to be largely experienced from artistic and cultural sense, but the skill is combined with the abilities such as the spatial intelligence (Spacey, 2016).
Explicit knowledge
Explicit knowledge can be defined as the information and knowledge that is written down or expressed and it is easy for people to communicate (Federico,2017). It means the knowledge can be expressed, articulated and recorded as numbers, codes, words, musical notations, and scientific and mathematical formulae. The knowledge is easy to store, communicate and distribute and it is the type of knowledge that is found in books, webs and other oral or visual means (Spacey, 2016). An example of explicit knowledge is when someone reads a book, magazine or enrolls in a class, she or he is getting in the explicit knowledge. When a person is using explicit knowledge, she or he is expressing the knowledge from books, images, formulas, and numbers.
