 Overview: The operating system serves as an interface between hardware and applications. It abstracts the details related to CPU scheduling, memory management, and responding to hardware interrupts during input and output. The purpose of this assignment is to diagram the association between the hardware components of the operating system and their associated operating system abstractions.  Diagram should include three hardware elements (i.e., CPU, memory, and disk) and their associated operating system abstractions are accurately depicted (Processes, Memory, and Files). 

Possible programs for creating your diagram include but are not limited to Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, or bubbl.us.
