Chief executive officer (CEO) Beranger was impressed with your presentation to the board of directors last week regarding the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. She wants you to utilize your skills and knowledge in healthcare ethics to create the new Code of Ethics for the hospital that will guide all staff members while simultaneously building trust among patients.  She wants you to prepare a 3-4-page Code of Ethics document that will also include a one page personal and professional code of conduct.  The document should also make it clear as to why health care professionals should have a firm foundation of ethical principles.
