Investigating Research Designs

Go to the Hunt Library, (Links to an external site.) and use EAGLEsearch to find three scholarly and peer-reviewed articles on any topic of interest.  Be sure to select the "Scholarly & Peer-Review" filter option on the left of the screen (following the initial display of results).

In this discussion forum, present the APA reference entry for each article, and then describe the methodology of each article in two to three sentences answering the following questions:

• Did the author(s) use a quantitative or qualitative design?
• Did the author(s) articulate a research question or hypothesis?
• To what extent was it easy to understand how the author(s) would collect and analyze the data?
• Discuss the similarities and differences of the methodologies of the articles you chose.
