Integrated
There are issues with your Technology Integration Video due to not following closely the instructions. Your video is less than 3 minutes (2:50) and it should be 10 minutes. Also, there is no single artifact included in the video to provide evidence for incorporation of three different technologies for instructing children and youth with disabilities across the semester in the classroom.
Per instructions:
Technology Integration Video: (50 Points) Due: March 30, 206 by 11:45 P.M. in GoView Assignment Box
The video (10 minutes) could be in the form of a narrated digital story, or an interactive narrated video photo montage. You should use the collected across the semester artifacts (e.g., video clips, audio recordings, pictures of your student work samples, photos of student using a given technology, and any other relevant artifacts) to tell your video narrated story about your classroom technology integration.
A Sample of completed Technology Integration Video Project, including the Video and Process Reflection Paper have also been provided in Learning Module 3 to give an idea of how one colleague has successfully completed this project.
As you indicated in your proposal these artifacts should be collected across the semester and included in the video as evidence:
The project incorporates three specific technologies that are aimed to assist the differentiated instruction to students with disabilities in the following areas of identified content:
- Assistive Reading Software
- Interactive Mathematic Application.
- Online Writing and Composition Aid.
A video record of real classroom use will be done through short video segments across the semester. The participation of the students will be captured in photographs and the explanations and thoughts that the students will have on the learning process will be captured in an audio recording. To prove academic progress, screenshots and samples of digital works will be stored. Artifacts will be gathered continuously and marked with dates and description notes to assist in organizing and accuracy when editing.
Per instruction:
In case, if won't get any permission, you still can demonstrate successfully your integration of technology in the classroom without including students in this project (e.g. if you collect any video clips of self-selected technologies do not include any students in those video clips (direct camera only at yourself or technology applications), similarly do not include any pictures of students or students' work samples in your project). In other words, if you won't get any permission from parents, you can still discuss technologies and include in the video collected video clips, screen shots, and pictures of your technologies used in your classroom without students appearing in the video.
