1. Discuss the importance of where the information systems function is placed and the various types of users of information systems.

2. Review the section on dealing with multiple locations and outsourcing.  Review figure 7.2 and note how virtual team communications further reiterates the importance of this model.

3. What type of IT user are you? Take a look at the five types of technology adopters and then write a one-page summary of where you think you fit in this model.
