Informal/Formal Presentations

Introduction:

In any professional or academic environment, you may be tasked with presenting information to a group on a project.

Instructions: 

For this discussion post, please describe a professional experience (whether it is in your current role at your company, within your higher education experience, etc.) where you prepared an oral presentation:

Would you classify it as informal, formal, or somewhere in between?

Who was your audience? Coworkers, fellow students, or a conference of people with various degrees of knowledge?

What could you have done better? What went well?

Be sure to include the topic that you presented on; it does not have to be technical. The importance of posting on fellow classmates’ posts is to engage in the fundamentals of the presentation,, not the topics they presented on.
