Info Security & Risk management
Risk mitigation is a strategy to prepare for and lessen the effects of threats faced by a data center. Comparable to risk reduction, risk mitigation takes steps to reduce the negative effects of threats and disasters on business continuity (BC). A mitigation plan reduces the exposure of a business to risk and decreases the effect and severity of risks.
When risks are identified and taken into account, mitigating the consequences through transference can be a viable strategy. Mitigation also includes performance risks, such as insufficient resources to perform the work. Discuss the types of risk mitigation threats
