Now that you have identified the data sets, discussed the electronic health record (EHR) and computerized physician order entry (CPOE), and identified patient demographic information data elements that are necessary for the new system, you will begin your needs analysis in preparation for selecting the vendor for the EHR. Update the Key Assignment with feedback from the peer review Discussion Board and faculty grading feedback.

Once your document is updated, add the following to your paper of 3-4 pages not including the title page, abstract page, and reference page:

• Identify the appropriate department heads that need to be part of the EHR implementation committee.
• The computers in the facility are outdated. Identify what will need to be done to prepare for the EHR implementation.
