Improve my CMLIT paper

I already finished my draft and I need someone to improve it. I put my proposal and draft down here. thanks a lot.

Use the following steps:

- Topic: what primary texts, what purpose for the comparison, what secondary sources, what relationship to our class topic (for your final, you must use one literary text from the second half of class and may compare to either short fiction or a film)

- Problem: what do you hope to find out with your paper, is it grounded in the texts, how does it prompt analysis (for your final, I will not accept papers asking whether a text is or is not crime or detective fiction)

- Textual evidence x4: where in the text can we find an answer to this problem? Use your notes and return to the primary sources to gather evidence.

- Claim questions x4: generate one question with regards to each piece of evidence. Remember that your questions must lead to the interpretation of evidence. If it's obvious to you or your peers, it probably isn't a strong enough question.
