Why I Made This Assignment

I would like you all to do some research on the Gender Pay Gap. The point of this assignment is to enable you all to have a thought-provoking conversation in class next week. I want you to hear each other’s opinions on the matter and have you express these thoughts in a respectful and professional manner.

1) Find two articles that interest you the most related to the Gender Pay Gap.

a) When searching for these articles, please make sure that you are using reliable and reputable resources.

i) Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, etc.

(1) NO WIKIPEDIA!

2) Write a paragraph or two expressing what you feel about the topic and mention anything you learned or found to be interesting or points that you would like to discuss with your classmates next week during class.

3) In the pages below, also paste the two articles you selected and make sure to cite your sources.

4) Once you have completed this assignment, fill in your name and section number at the top of this paper, select the “File” tab in Microsoft Word, click “Save As”, and then change the name of your document to “Your name. Sec #-Gender Pay Gap”

E.g.- “Jessica Gilstrap.002-Gender Pay Gap.”
