Implicit and Explicit Factors

Implicit and explicit factors affect how we see ourselves and how others see us, respectively. This assignment will give you the opportunity to reflect on your own implicit and explicit factors.

Write a 1,100 -word self-reflection paper listing and describing the implicit and explicit factors impacting your individual identity. Ensure your paper:

· Identifies cultural identity factors about yourself

· Discusses cultural identity factors that are readily apparent to strangers (explicit factors)

· Discusses cultural identity factors that are not readily apparent to strangers (implicit factors)

· Examines the cultural identity factors that most influence the way you view the world

· Discusses how your understanding of your cultural identity has changed since the start of this course

· Examines how your understanding of your cultural identity influences your ability to be culturally competent toward others
