The Dominique Santiago Case

When she first came to the U.S., Dominique considered marriage to her boyfriend. However, after a while, she was not sure if that's what she really wanted to do—she was hesitant about getting into a serious relationship. Dominique wanted to stay in the U.S., so she started looking for other solutions. She heard that she could go to school, which would enable her to stay in the U.S. She calls your law office for help. Dominique wants to know about the possible problems, advantages, and disadvantages of changing her status by getting married in the U.S.. She also wants to know how to enroll in the Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) as an alien and if enrolling there would allow her to change her immigration status and remain in the U.S. without getting married.
