Delivering Bad News  The responsibility for refusals within the office frequently rests on the supervisor's desk. This is a delicate communication task that you learned about in Chapter 6 of your M: Business Communication text.

Find two examples of bad-news actions you would be asked to deliver in writing in your ideal job.(Information Technology)

For example, an employee might get a refusal for a project proposal or have to write up a disciplinary action on another employee. For the client or customer, an example might be an employee having to tell a vendor the bid was rejected.  Your assignment is to do the following, using the delivery mode that is usual in your ideal job:

 •Write a bad-news message to an employee.

•Write a bad-news message to a client or customer.  Requirements

•Written communication: Writing should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.

•Length of paper: Two pages.

•Font and font size: Arial, 10 point.
