Use RJ 3&4 to understand the Moodle databases. There is a link to the MLA style guide at the end of the document. The end of RJ 3&4 directs you to read a chapter from a book on the class question and write a summary.

Use RJ 5 to revise your summary from RJ 3&4. This RJ will help you be objective and academic. The Traap evaluation will help you apply good research criteria to choosing sources. Once you have your Bibliographic details, your revised summary, and your TRAAP evaluation, then put these details into the Sample Bibliographic Summary Sheet, print it out, and hand it in for a grade (worth 10% of your grade).

Use RJ 6 to learn how to research journal databases on MC's library system. From your research using the class question, choose and read a journal article and write a bibliography, summary, and TRAAP evaluation. Place these at the bottom of RJ 6.

Use RJ 7 to learn how to research the web and recognize good sources from bad. Follow the RJ 7 to recognize sites such as government and .com, recognize bias, strengths, and weaknesses. Near the end of the RJ, begin to refine what kind of overall question you want to ask ("what do you want/need") so you know what sort of information you want to ask that the class is missing. Read one of the URLs you have chosen, write a Bibliographic entry, a summary, and a TRAAP evaluation.

The RJs are a tool to create an annotated bibliography so that you can make a community annotated bibliography in answer to the class question.
