1. Creative Work
   • Write a paragraph of fiction or one page of a screenplay that demonstrates setting. You have not learned much about the forms at this point except through examples in the module resources; use these to guide your writing. You will learn more about the specifics of each form when you prepare to write your first draft in Module Five.
2. Reflection Questions
   • Why did you choose the form (fiction or screenplay) you used to apply setting?
   • In what way(s) does your choice appeal to your personal interests and style?

In this blog post, you will demonstrate your ability to develop character and construct plot.

This blog post has two sections:

1. Creative Work
   • In Modules One and Two, you were exposed to four forms of creative writing (fiction. nonfiction, poetry, or screenplay) and you experimented with two of them based on your interests and style. Now, choose a form to concentrate on for this post; it may be the same one you wish to use for the final project or a different one.
   • Using your selected form, write 250 to 300 words that incorporate the elements of character and plot. For poetry, write 25 to 30 lines.

   • Why did you choose the form you used to apply character and plot?
   • In what way(s) does your choice appeal to your personal interests and style?
