I choose "china's reform and opening-up " for my topic, It happened 1992 to today.

 Each individual is required to complete an economic development analysis paper. This paper is to be a minimum of 12 pages (times new roman, font size 12, double spaced)---shorter papers will have a decreased point value assigned. The page length does NOT include a title page or a bibliography; the 12 pages are to be 4 for content (I suspect a title page and bibliography to add 2-3 pages to the total length culminating in a 14-15 page paper at minimum). The purpose of the paper is for each student to pick a country or region from either today or in history and analyze the development of the that country. Questions that could be considered are:

 1) What did X do well? 

2) What did X do poorly? 

3) What theory did they follow?

 4) How did the people/government/global community help or hurt X?
