two-page (double-spaced, 12-point font) paper that summarizes the assigned reading that was discussed during the discussion. The summary papers should follow this format:

Part I: Introduce the author(s) and the title of the reading being summarized

Part II: Describe what the reading is about

Part III: Lay out the author(s) main point(s)

Part IV: Talk about the implications of the reading (i.e. what does it mean for policy, the criminal justice system, society, etc.? In other words, why is the reading important?)
