From the Modules section pull up the Translations AND the mp3 file for the Ginastera Five Popular Songs. Select either Song 4 (5:17) or Song 5 (7:38) to focus on. Just select one. Write a short essay of about 1 ½ pages on your song focusing on the relationship between the text and the music. How does the composer illuminate the text through the music? That is what you need to communicate. Be scientific. Refer to the elements of music found on the Listening Profiles (Plain and Detailed) found in the Toolbox section. All of your materials are posted on Canvas. Also in one or two sentences evaluate the quality of the performance and explain how the performance may have affected your appreciation of the music.
