Humanities Discussion

 Artists are often involved in national social movements that result in the transformation not only of the art world, but also of society at large.  Discuss the transformations that occurred as a result of any of the following civil rights movements (African American, Chicano/a, Native American, gay/lesbian) or the feminist movement.
