Module 7:  Representing Modernism

Instructions

1. Imagine you have been commissioned to create artwork that would represent Modernism in most aspects: war, women's liberation, science, technology, painting, Stravinsky, jazz…

2. What would you create? What elements would you include? What materials would you use? What would you represent?

3. Answer each of the questions in (2.) justifying your choices using at least one of the resources (videos, readings) included in the module.

4. Make sure you demonstrate how the resources are used. Every selection you make must be justified with evidence from the resources.

5. Set up your presentation in no more than five PowerPoint slides.

Submission Instructions:

· Submit your initial discussion post by 11:59 pm ET on Wednesday, and react critically to at least two of your classmates' discussion posts by 11:59 pm on Saturday.

· Contribute a minimum of 5 PowerPoint slides. It should include at least three academic sources, formatted and cited in APA.
