HUMAN TECHNOLOGY 2nd Milestone paper

This course will consist of three major assignments (milestone papers) and 13 shorter assignments that I call reflection papers (essentially one assignment per week).

Milestone Papers

There will be three milestone papers consisting of a proposal, a rough draft, and a final essay. All three of these assignments are connected, as you will follow your idea or project from the proposal stage to the final and fully-revised essay.

Each student must pick a subject related to technology and society from 1970 to the present. The choices are nearly limitless and can include the advance of military technology, the history of the Internet, the origin of social media, technology and national security, the influence of technology of human interaction, etc.

The first milestone paper is a thesis proposal that will be precisely one full page in length (single-spaced, no spaces between sentences) where each student is expected to give a definitive thesis statement/argument and supporting arguments leading to the rough draft. The first milestone counts for 15 percent of the final grade.

The second milestone paper is a six-page first draft with one page including a cover page. Papers should include five full pages of text, not including a cover page. This paper should be double-spaced. This paper should be typed in 12-font Times New Roman and double-spaced. Included should be 4 peer-reviewed sources (2 books/monographs and 2 peer-reviewed articles). The second milestone counts for 15 percent of the final grade.

The second milestone paper should be five pages in length and give me a good and solid preview of the final paper. The second milestone counts for 15 percent of the final grade. Please upload this paper by Sunday, October 22 by 11:55 p.m.

YOU WILL BE DOING THE 2ND MILESTONE PAPER FOR ME. YOU DID THE FIRST ONE FOR ME ALREADY.
