Which lesson or topic stood out for you the most in the course? (Lesson 4) What worked for you in the course and what didn't? Explain why. Did any of your thoughts/attitudes change as a result of this class?
Lesson 4 Overview-Sexual pleasure and satisfaction are both psychologically and physiologically based...As we shall soon see, pleasurable sexual stimulation will lead to an identifiable sexual response cycle. Knowing what this response cycle is can help you view your sexuality as a normal part of your functioning, for it suggests that sexual responses can be understood, predicted, and studied in the same was that other physiological processes can" (Greenberg et al., 2014, p. 158).

Hello Class,
The topic that stuck out to me the most was from our week 3 forum “It's About That Time” I remember having that talk with my daughter about her becoming a young woman. I’ll never forget when I found out that she started her period. I was in shock because, my little princess was growing up. But, living with my mother and having three sisters helped me to understand what a woman goes through when they’re going through puberty. My mother taught me how the female body works and she even taught me how to go to the store and buy feminine products. I’m able to go and buy my daughter’s and girlfriend’s feminine products without being embarrassed. I know some men have a hard time going to the store and buying those things. I really have to thank my mom (May she rest in paradise) for taking the time out to help prepare me for the day that I had a daughter. What worked for me in the course was that the lesson material was spot on with we were learning for that specific week. What didn’t work for me was trying to use the E-library to locate relevant references. For every class that I registered for on APUS, I had a hard time trying to access the e-library and at times I would get kicked out of the e-library. That made it very frustrating when trying to do research for the homework assignments. My thoughts or attitude really did not change. I’m always open to learn new and interesting things when it comes to Human Sexuality. Overall I truly enjoyed this class. The responses from my classmates really gave me insight on some of the topics that were discussed week in and week out and even some controversial topics. To all of my classmates, good luck with your future classes here at AMU. Thank you Professor Law for everything. I truly enjoyed your class. You’re an amazing Professor.

Ma'am,
This class was one of the last classes for me to take before I took a break for a month or so. It did not disappoint and I will admit whole heatedly that I did indeed learn a lot from taking this class. What appreciated the most about the class set up is that it encourages free thought on the topics. Nothing was binding or made into a closed conversation. How you felt on a particular assignment of weekly post could be expressed in private post of in the open to the class. To me that was the greatest take away because talking about sex and how it affects and has affected the world around us now and in the past I think shapes the type of people we will become in the future because its such an important part of who we are as humans. Being able to respect a woman's ability to choose and persons ability to identify as they want to important to the growth of this nation and the world as a whole. We should never allow our own personal beliefs to get in the way of national or global progression when it comes to sexuality. GOD's greatest gift of man kind was the right to "Choose"! You can choose to follow in his teaching or not, you can choose to love a man and man or a woman as a woman, you can choose to be a man if your a woman or a woman if you are man. The bottom line is to find your own personal happiness and choose to embrace it and not be subject to someone else belief on how you should live your life and be happy. Ever human being deserves their own personal mental beach of happiness when it comes to sexuality. This class helped me solidify that thought and belief.
