Imagine that a new believer at your church has seen a documentary on television claiming that the Bible is not reliable and filled with errors. He asks you, "How did we get the Bible? Is it a reliable rendering of the original documents written by the prophets and apostles?" In 900-1100 words, describe in language a new believer can understand how the Bible developed from the original manuscripts written by Peter, Paul, Moses, and others to the English Bibles we use today.

Be sure to mention (a) how the canon was determined, (b) how the original documents were transmitted to us, and (c) why we have so many different English translations.
