All you need to do is to watch the YouTube video about Materialism (you can find the link below), and then write a one-page discussion about the topic by : 1) summarizing the video, and 2) discussing your own thoughts on the topic.

In your discussion try to discuss the topic (Materialism) from both the consumers and the companies perspectives. Whom do you think we should blame for this? Only the companies? or both the companies and consumers?

Try to borrow from what you learned in this class and be professional in your discussion based on the vocabulary you use.   

There is no right or wrong answer here. So, don't worry about how you respond to above questions, just try to have a logical argument. The deadline for this extra credit assignment is Thursday, November 30, 10:00 pm. No specific format is required.
