Discussion: You are doing the intake report for a client who has come to the agency due to an episode of domestic violence. Her partner is in jail but will be released in 48 hours and has vowed to track her down and kill her. She is looking for a safe place for herself and her two-year-old son; she does not want to return to her partner, but has no support network, and nowhere to go. You are a recent graduate and have been working full time for eight months at your current Family Services Agency job, where you interned while completing your degree. Describe how you would determine the treatment approach for this client, and the goodness of fit between your skill set and the client’s needs.
