The documentary presents another type of historical primary source- the oral account. In primary source oral accounts like this one, a person will often describe his or her own individual experience, and what you as a historian needs to do, is to draw general lessons from this person's account. 

So, what does this oral history add to the add to the picture of the holocaust provided in the textbook?

a. Describe 3 things you learn about the holocaust that are not in the book from this documentary. (15 points)

b. How does it add to our knowledge of the holocaust? (How is it represented in the book, and what does the oral account add to this?)
