Addresses each of the following areas:

1. Includes two dimensions of parenting styles and discusses pros and cons to each of the dimensions. (12 points)

2. Specifies four parenting styles and discusses outcomes related to each of the styles. (12 points)

3. Identifies different parenting practices and strengths and weaknesses to various ways of parenting. (12 points)

4. Discusses how parenting practices influence development self-esteem and which parenting practices are recommended based on their efficacy. (12 points)

5. Addresses variables such as child temperament and culture that impact parenting practices. (10 points)

6. Assesses how cultural differences relate to behavior and needs of both parents and children. (10 points)

Writing and Format:

Appearance: Appealing template style that does not distract from the slide content. Includes graphics (images, graphs, etc). Easy to read font size and style with minimal wording in bullet points (free from clutter).

Structure & Length: Includes a title/cover slide, at least 10 presentation content slides, and a final reference slide (at least 12 slides with cover slide and reference slide)

References & Format: Presentation references the text book and at least 3 other crediblesources (4 total) by using in-text citations (Author, Year) on slides and by listing the 4 references in correct APA 6th edition format on final slide (hanging indent is not required).
