Topic: Methadone and Needle Exchange Programs

Prompt: Investigate the use of methadone, methadone clinics, and needle exchange programs to combat the effects of heroin use. List the purposes of each and state their effectiveness. Are such clinics and programs legal? If so, where? What is your opinion of the use of methadone, methadone clinics, and needle exchange programs?
