1. See the AHIMA Vlab Encoder announcement for 3M for access code information, as needed.  Review the 3M FAQS and Vlab Login Credentials in 3M.

2. Go to AHIMA Vlab 3M Encoder and complete Activity #1 Login, and Activities #2 and #3 Clinical Coding and Reimbursement.  If you have already completed these in another coding class, please see 3) below for the two 3M activities. 

3. Do a screenshot of your passing scores on both activities and submit as one attachment in the assignment folder with the naming convention:  lastname.firstname.M5A3

4. While in 3M access the 3M References using the tabs at the top of the page and review the AHA Coding Clinic. Write 100 words or more in a paper about Coding Clinic.  Who publishes it? How often is it published? What is its purpose?  Provide an example of a scenario from the Coding Clinic that specifically addresses an ICD-10-PCS case and discuss. When discussing the scenario do not just copy and paste the scenario provide your understanding of the information provided.
