In one of the articles to be read (Benjamin Schwarz, "The Real Cuban Missile Crisis"), the author argues that President Kennedy and his staff misled the American public regarding the Cuban missile crisis. Your assignment is twofold: (1) summarize Schwarz's reasons for believing that the country was misled; and (2) based on all the articles read, tell me whether or not you believe his arguments for his position, and state you reason(s) for your position.
