History or science research

Unlike writing assignments you may have completed in the past, the assignment isn't one specific prompt. You’ll choose a topic related to science, technology, or history; conduct research on your topic; and write a paper based on your research. Your final paper should include the following features:

8 to 12 paragraphs.

an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

a clear thesis statement that identifies the central idea.

Supporting details/evidence in the form of facts, details, statistics, quotations, and so on.

in-text citations and a works cited section.

at least three sources.

the sources may come from the same website but they should have different authors (if authors are listed) or approach the topic in different ways. 

You can use one of these topics or create your own. If one of these topics interests you, use the listed websites to get more ideas about that topic.
