[ Example: I’m interested in writing my paper on Indigenous humor among the Haudenosaunee peoples in Central New York. The primary question I will investigate is how the survivors of boarding schools manage to cope with their intergenerational trauma through the practice of storytelling. As we learned from assigned readings and in-class conversations, many stories (including origin stories) shared by Haudenosaunee Elders have humorous aspects.
