History
History is often reduced to simple narratives that are easily understood, and most of us relate more readily to stories with obvious heroes and villains. Malcolm Gladwell complicates many of these narratives in his podcast series Revisionist History. In Season 2, Episode 7, he explains how the facts about a key image associated with the civil rights demonstrations in Birmingham in 1963 are more complicated than what we commemorate.
