Based on your reading of Chapter 21 in the textbook, the primary source documents, and the online lessons, please share your views on ONE of the discussion topics. 

1. What were the possible causes of the Great Depressions?

2. Some critics charged that President Roosevelt's New Deal nearly destroyed American capitalism; others maintained that said that he saved it. Which view is more persuasive and why?
