Imagine you have been hired as a data quality manager by a local healthcare facility (define your choice of a facility) that has not yet had any healthcare data quality policy. You were tasked to develop it. 

Discuss the role of healthcare data quality policy in your chosen organization (you may use the AHIMA Policy Statement as a reference https://www.ahima.org/advocacy/policy-statements/data-quality-and-integrity/). What elements should it contain specific to your organization and why? How would you ensure organizational compliance with regard to data quality in the policy? What challenges do you anticipate in its implementation? Finally, assess the implications of data quality policy for clinical decision-making and operational efficiencies and the consequences of failed implementation for organizational sustainability.
