Argument Blueprint Mapping Template (Classical form)
Use the included Classical argument form template to outline your argument, bringing your preliminary research from last week into this template as supplemental material to create your fully complete argument outline map.
Remember to use the material you started when researching last week in your Research and Exploration Findings Log.
Start by developing a position statement based on your research. Be sure that your position statement does not use “I” anywhere and that it uses the Although+Claim+Because form explained in your lecture.
Ex: Although some claim ________ (insert their objection), _________ (insert your claim ) because _______ (insert your major reasons).
Although some claim that genetically modified organisms are dangerous to human health and should be banned, genetically modified crops are important to world nutrition because they may be grown in hostile ecosystems, they often amplify nutrients, and they have not been shown to produce harmful effects in humans.
Develop your argument by bringing in your source material from last week and expanding your ideas to create a full argument outline. You will use this outline next week while debating, so you want this outline to be as comprehensive as possible for a smoother debate next week.

By the end of this assignment, you will have a comprehensive argument map that both details your argument for the Week 9 debate and integrates your research from last week into the structure of your argument.
This assignment will serve as the foundation for your final debate. You will use your completed comprehensive argument map to engage in live argumentation with an AI tool next week. Therefore, you will want this Argument Blueprint to be as complete as possible, considering all aspects of the argument that may come up in your impromptu debate and using credible source material to support your claims.
· Use the Classical model of argument as outlined in this week’s lecture and on the assignment template.
· Use the provided template and map your argument with your sources from last week integrated. Show where each source will appear in detail.
· Your outline should demonstrate not only your position, but also how evidence and objections fit into your reasoning.
Submission: Upload the completed outline with sources and argument map to Canvas for Week 8.
