1. Describe three differences in vitamins and minerals. (15 pts)
2. Examine your average intake of major minerals. Which major minerals were less than 75% of your personal DRI? (See Intakes vs Goals Report) (5 pts)
3. Explain at least one potential consequence of long-term deficiency for each major mineral in which your intake didn’t meet at least 75% of your personal DRI. If you met at least 75% of the RDA for all major minerals, choose one mineral and explain two potential consequences for deficiency. Include in your explanation what mineral function is compromised that causes these symptoms of deficiency disease. (20 pts)
4. For each of major mineral in which you didn’t meet at least 75% of your personal DRI, provide an example of a food source to improve your intake. (15 pts)
