" Some scholars have said that his fascination with the Delphic inscription "KNOW THYSELF" compelled Socrates to alter the course of philosophy. Using evidence from A Presocratic Reader and at least two of the four dialogues in The last of Socrates, write a brief endorsement of the view by identifying and contextualizing instances in which Socrates appears to be thinking and talking like someone deeply affected by the Delphic inscription".
