 Read Chapters 6 and 7 in your textbook.
 For onsite students, come to class prepared to discuss questions 1, 2, and 5 from the Review
Section in Chapter 6. Topics will include:
 Rules for reading rocks
 Fossil Formation
 Carbon 14
 Write a 2-3 page paper (500 to 750 words double spaced) comparing and contrasting the
different theories of Earth’s history.

 Naturalistic Evolutionary view of Earth History versus Young-Earth Creation views of
Earth History
 The geologic column
 Noah’s flood
 Challenges to each view
