The effectiveness of an organization often hinges on nurse managers/leaders, as they are the “keepers” of quality patient care, patient safety and patient satisfaction.  Hospitals are focused on the bottom line and, by necessity, to overall patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Assess your facility’s overall utilization of the nursing division and nursing staff in improving patient care delivery.  Describe the different initiatives and programs created, and driven by your nursing department that have had a direct impact on improving the delivery of care.
