 Over the course of this semester, three non-hospital healthcare environment assignments are required for this course. Worth 30 points, these assignments can be completed by investigating three different healthcare environments; for example, public health department, home care, hospice care, long-term care and alternative medicine clinics. This could be completed by taking part in an educational seminar or briefly interviewing a healthcare worker in one of the unique areas you are interested in. You will want to investigate what patients/clients are served, what service is provided, how is the service reimbursed, are there federal/state regulations to follow, what degree or experience is required to work or volunteer in the environment. This post will be submitted to the assignment tab with a detailed explanation of what you learned about each of the healthcare environments. Your paper should be in APA format and should be 2 pages long, not including the cover and reference page.
