Assignment Description:  Group Assignment

Every week during this class, you will be working with a group to complete a group assignment. Each week there will be a different assignment with different requirements.

In order to receive credit for the group project, students must have demonstrated participation in the project. Participation is measured by the group discussion board, group file exchanges, and recorded group collaborate sessions. Individual assignments will not be accepted.

Be sure to review the grading rubric weekly for each group assignment.

Step One: Using Medline PubMed Resources (https://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/pmresources.html), locate one article on the registry of your choice and one article on an index of your choice. 

Step Two: Summarize the articles using APA style in a minimum 2 page paper.  The summarization must include the following elements:
1. Purpose of the registry or index
2. Method of case definition and case finding
3. Data collection methods
4. Reporting and follow-up
5. Pertinent laws and regulations affecting the registry's operations

Step Three: This assignment must be submitted as a separate document created in Microsoft Word in APA format. At least two references are required.
