The review is not an article-by-article summary, but a synthesis essay. Your review should be 3,000-4,000 words.

You can choose whether to make the structure of your review explicit by using headings to bring out key themes, issues, etc., or simply to present it as a continuous narrative. All terminologies should be explained so that readers do not need to dig into resources to understand your writing.

Either way, you should have an introduction that explains the focus, scope, and purpose of the review, and a final part that summarizes your key points and reaches a clear conclusion about existing literature on your topic.
