Students will assess their HCO for compliance with the CLAS guidelines for cultural competence 

• read chapters 1 &2 of: Developing a self-assessment tool for culturally & linguistically appropriate services in local public agencies (see attachment) located at: the office of minority health www.https://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/assets/pdf/checked/LPHAs_FinalReport.pdf
• review the CLAS site https://thinkculturalhealth.hhs.gov/clas/standards
• using the attachment and the CLAS link to assess your HCO (Aventura Hospital) and your research, rate your organization using the Likert scale
• complete activity in a word document, use headers to organize your content and comply with guidelines, submit in black board
•  3-5 pages of content (excluding opening pages) APA 6th edition compliant word document, with a minimum of 5 references and intext citation, New Times Roman 12"  font using updated rubric. Disregard the 10 questions. under Accountability section
