Health Assessment

The research study should be published within the past 5 years. Answer the following questions pertaining to your research. QUESTIONS IN A WORD DOCUMENT AND ANSWER DIRECTLY BELOW EACH QUESTION.

1. From which database did you locate your article? (EBSCO, CINAHL Plus, etc. )

2. How relevant is the research problem presented in the article to the actual practice of nursing?

3. Was the study qualitative or quantitative? How do you know? (Do not submit a meta-analysis, systematic review, or an article that is not a study.)

4. What was the underlying purpose or purposes of the study- identification, description, exploration, explanation, or prediction control?

5. Does the purpose of the research correspond to an evidence-based practice (EBP) focus such as therapy/treatment, diagnosis, prognosis, etiology/harm, or meaning?

6. What might be some clinical implications of this research?

7. To what type of people and settings is the research most relevant? Are there any of your classmates, from their introduction post, who would also be interested in this article? If so, who?

8. If the findings of this research were accurate, how might you use the results of this study in your clinical work?
