 Has anyone tried the penguin crochet kit as a first amigurumi project? I keep seeing it pop up and I'm curious if it's actually beginner friendly or just hyped. I've done a few flat crochet pieces but working in the round still feels like a stretch. The pre-started yarn sounds nice in theory, but does it really help or does it just delay the learning curve? Also wondering about the video tutorials. Are they clear enough for someone who's never made a magic ring before? I'd rather hear from real people than rely on product photos.
