                                       TOPIC: BIO OF 20 IMPORTANT WOMEN.

Students will be required to complete bios of 20 important women contributing to American society to the 

Civil War [****born after 1840]. The bios should be no more than 8 sentences for each woman.  Bios must be in essay form—no listing  or numbering of information!!!!!   You must include some of the following information about the topic:

1. birthday and birthplace 
2. education 
3. family data 
4. important events in her life 
5. important influences in her life 
6. historical contributions that she made or is making 
7. awards or achievements 
8. books, publications… by her 
9. other data you deem important to note about her
10. You must use at least three sources for each bio; only one can be an electronic source.
