Groups and Teams

Working with others is a critical skill no matter the type of work or work environment that you will find yourself in. Several key concepts relating to working with or in teams are discussed in Chapter 10 (Understanding Groups and Teams). Choose any core concept from the chapter that you are interested in investigating further. Choose an organization that uses teams or groups effectively and apply a chapter concept to this organization. Alternatively, you may discuss a group or team that you have personally experienced and apply a chapter concept. Remember that you need to bring in research from appropriate resources outside of the course text to support the ideas discussed in this learning journal.
